Helen Ciampa, 98, formerly of Saint Clair, entered eternal rest peacefully Tuesday at Schuylkill Medical Center-East Norwegian Street.

Born in Forestville, Aug. 14, 1915, she was a daughter of the late John and Anna Anoik Cutler.

She was the widow of Salvatore Ciampa, who died Dec. 22, 1976.

She was a member of St. Clair of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, Saint Clair.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Salvatore, Helen was preceded in death by brothers, John and Michael Cutler and Anthony Buletski; and sisters, Sophie Lasky, Kathryn Rodgers, Julie Lecher, Frances Donlin, Tessie Hart and Mary Bluff.

Helen is survived by a sister, Anna Asaif; nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Clair of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, Saint Clair, with Monsignor William Glosser officiating. Friends are invited to attend a visitation from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Interment will be in Queen of the Universe Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made to York Terrace Golden Living Center Activities Fund. Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home Inc., Minersville, is entrusted with arrangements.
