Robert R. "Bob" Moser, 83, of Pottsville, a former Frackville resident and well-known local contractor, died peacefully Monday at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born in Frackville, he was a son of the late Alvin S. and Mae E. Reed Moser.
He was the owner of Bob Moser Contracting until his retirement.
He was preceded in death by a sister, LaRue White, and brother, Claire "Sugar" Moser.
Bob is survived by his wife, the former Peggy Asson, with whom he would have celebrated 44 years of marriage on Thursday; two brothers, William Moser and his wife, Janet, Frackville, and Wendell Moser and his, wife, Jutta, Mountain Top; two sisters, Ruth, wife of Nick Borzak, Frackville, and Diane, wife of Richard Watkins, Florida; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at noon Friday from Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Frackville, with the Rev. Oliver E. Brown officiating. Interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Frackville. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of service Friday.
