Dominick A. Laspina, 93, of Germanville Road, Ashland, passed away Friday at Broad Mountain Manor Nursing Home, Frackville.

Born in Yeagertown, March 18, 1921, he was a son of the late Joseph and Lucie Panuzuia Laspina.
He was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Ashland.
A World War II Army veteran, he graduated from Girardville High School and worked for many years in accounting for Allied Chemical Co., New Jersey, until retirement in 1986.
Dominick was a skillful musician, playing guitar, mandolin and violin.
Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, were two sisters and a brother, Lucy, Rachel and Lewis; nieces and nephews.
Surviving are his wife of 67 years, Rita Buzzelli Laspina; son, Rick Laspina; brother, Joseph Laspina, Florida; and two grandsons, Vinnie and Nicholas.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Church, Ashland, with the Rev. John W. Bambrick officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Fountain Springs. A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home, Ashland.
