Hunter Glen Motley, 26, of Port Carbon, passed away with his loving family by his side Thursday at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born in Pottsville, Feb. 16, 1991, he was a son of John J. and Karen A. Himmelberger Motley.

Hunter worked in the packing and shipping department at Sapa Extrusions, Cressona.

Hunter loved hunting and fishing and just being in the outdoors. He was a member of the Lone Pine Fishing Club, Middleport, and the Pricetown Rifle and Pistol Club. Hunter loved gunsmithing, riding four-wheelers and snowmobiles, and loved playing sports like hockey, baseball and football.

In addition to his parents, Hunter is survived by his paternal grandparents, Ronald and Mary Himmelberger, Blandon, and numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

A religious service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home, 208 Pike St., Port Carbon, with David Poissant officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. in the Berks County Memorial Garden's Cemetery, Fleetwood. The funeral procession will gather at 9:30 a.m. Thursday and leave the funeral home at 10 a.m. for the cemetery. Please send condolences to www.robertaevansjrfh.com.
