Michael H. Yaroma, 70, of Hokendauqua, passed away Dec. 22, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.
He was married to Joanne Tacelosky Yaroma for 50 years.
Born in Shenandoah, he was the son of the late Nicholas and Hazel McSurdy Yaroma.
Michael was a self-employed businessman. He was a member of St. Peters Roman Catholic Church, Coplay.
Michael was a Navy veteran and also a member of the American Legion and the Catholic War Veterans. His life adventures included reading, fishing, cars, motorcycles and devoting himself as a grandfather.
He was predeceased by a sister, Ruth Giglio.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Michele Yaroma and husband, Tim McCants, Purcellville, Va., Nadie and husband, Gary Smith, Melbourne, Fla., Susan and husband, Mike Conner, Danielsville, Michael Yaroma Jr. and his wife, Adrienne, Oviedo, Fla., and Pamela and husband, Patrick Durkin, Las Vegas, Nev.; grandchildren, Amanda Garner, Ryan Smith, Curtis Garner, Tyler Smith, Anela Yaroma, Jacquelyn Garner, Ava Durkin, Greylon Durkin and Vivienne Durkin; and a sister, Sonia Yaroma, Fla.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Robert A. Hauke Funeral Home, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in the St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, Coplay. Viewing will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday and from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital c/o the funeral home.
