Catherine F. "Kitty" Williams, 88, of Harrisburg, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning in Holy Spirit Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Kitty was the widow of Ivor J. Williams.
She was born Feb. 22, 1923, in Black Heath, a daughter to the late William J. and Florence Kessler Delaney.
She was retired from the Harrisburg School District as a library aide.
She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Harrisburg.
In addition to her parents and husband, Kitty was preceded in death by three brothers, James, William and Cyril Delaney; a sister, Marie Laudeman.
Kitty is survived by her sons, James I. Williams and his wife, Patricia A., Allen J. Williams and Brian J. Williams and his wife, Kimberly A.; a daughter, Judith A. Williams; a brother, Francis Delaney; grandchildren, Megan and Mark Vetri, Adrienne Clarke, Brendan and Kara Williams-Kief, Morgan E. Williams-Fake, Christopher Fake, Katelyn Rose Williams and Colin Ivor Williams; great-grandchildren, Finn Clarke, Maurice Vetri, Quaide Clarke, Catherine Vetri and Mario Vetri.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2 p.m. today at Holy Family Catholic Church. A viewing will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. today at Dailey Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Kitty may be made to Holy Family Parish, 555 S. 25th St., Harrisburg, PA 17104. Arrangements entrusted to Dailey Funeral Home, 650 S. 28th St., Penbrook, PA 17103.
