Diane Pytko Obituary


August 13, 2012

Diane L. Pytko, 64, of Gilberton, passed away Monday at Schuylkill Medical Center-South Jackson Street.

Born in Gilberton, March 19, 1948, she was a daughter of Marian Shaner Israel, Gilberton, and the late Fredrick Israel.

She was a 1966 graduate of Mahanoy Area High School.

Diane had worked at the former McCorys at the Schuylkill Mall, Bell Telephone and Black Diamond Antiques.

She was a member of Gilberton United Methodist Church, Gilberton.

She was a member of Mah- anoy Area Football Boosters, and had served as the borough tax assessor.

Diane also loved going to the casino and playing Tuesday night bingo at the West End Fire & Rescue, Mahanoy City.

She was the wife of John J. Pytko.

Diane is survived by sons, Richard Billus, husband of Heather, John A. Pytko, husband of Jennifer, Mahanoy City, Anthony J. Pytko, Christian Pytko and fiancee, Heather Yanonis, Gilberton; sisters, Darlene Freil, Gilberton, and Debra Cola, Port Carbon; a brother, Fredrick Israel Jr., Gilberton; six grandchildren, Mason, Olivia, Addison, Christian, Cole and Caylee.

Services will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday at Gilberton United Methodist Church, Gilberton, with the Rev. Joe Murton officiating. Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. at the church. Louis D.
