Linda M. Kramer, 63, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Friday at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia.

Born in Pottsville, July 11, 1949, she was a daughter of Ruth M. Fox Long, Schuylkill Haven, and the late Paul Spangler.

After graduating high school, Linda attended Empire Beauty School.

She worked helping run the family businesses — Kramer Towing, Doodlebug Daycare and Pinebrook Personal Care.

Linda was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Schuylkill Haven.

She was the widow of Joseph John Kramer, who preceded her in death Feb. 23, 2012.

The couple of 41 years was married on Dec. 5, 1970, in Hawaii.

In addition to her father and husband, she was also preceded in death by her stepfather, John S. "Deac" Long Jr.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by a daughter, Joie Beekley and husband, Chris; a son, John P. "JP" Kramer and partner, Greg Daniels; a sister, Cheryl Spangler; three grandchildren, Zachary, Cameron and Mason Beekley, all of Schuylkill Haven; and aunts and cousins.

A Celebration of Life funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday at Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home Inc., Schuylkill Haven, with the Rev. Janet Lewis officiating. A viewing will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
