Noel R. Challenger, 50, of Williamstown, passed away Sunday at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, Hershey.

Born in Maryland, July 10, 1962, he was a son of Jacqueline Williams Challenger, Chicago, Ill., and the late Ronald "Ted" Challenger.

Noel was a 1980 graduate of Williams Valley High School.

He was a truck driver with Swift Trucking.

Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his wife, Rose M. Doyle Challenger; one son, Cody Challenger, Williamstown; two sisters, Holly Stakem, Steelton, and Ivy Drum, Williamstown; two stepbrothers, Eric Challenger, Chicago, and Ray Manuel, Millersburg; nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Homes Inc., Tower City. Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. at the chapel. To sign the guest book, visit www.dimonfuneralhome.com.
