Emil Sebock, 76, of Minersville, passed away Saturday at Schuylkill Medical Center-South Jackson Street.

Emil was born in Duncott, Sept. 17, 1937, a son of the late Paul and Anna Rushanan Sebock.

He was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, Minersville.

He was formally employed as a shopping supervisor at Extrudo/Exxon Chemical, and was previously involved with the Pottsville Traffic Club.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille D'Attilio Sebock, who died Dec. 31, 2005; and brothers and sisters.

Emil is survived by two daughters, Danielle Sebock and her companion, Matthew Brophy, and Elena Smith and her companion, Rick Frain, all of Minersville; three sons, Paul N., husband of Angela Sebock, Shoemakersville, Christopher, husband of Debra Sebock, Schuylkill Haven, and Matthew, husband of Lisa Sebock, Robinson, Texas; a brother, John Sebock, Allentown; a sister, Veronica Urban, Patterson, N.J.; grandchildren, Albert, Samantha, Zachary, Beverly, Rachael, Julia, Joseph, Logan, Derick, Ronald, Molly, Hunter and Lucia; and great-grandchildren, Kelley, Kevin and Tanner.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Michael the Archangel Church, Minersville, with the Rev. Adam C. Sedar officiating. Friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation from 8 to 10 a.m. Thursday at Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home Inc., Minersville. Interment will be in Ss. Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Cemetery, Minersville. Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home Inc., Minersville, has been entrusted with arrangements.
