Bruce Schell Obituary

Bruce E. Schell, 49, of Auburn, died Wednesday at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenburg.
Born in Hazleton, he was a loving son of Marie Hoffman Kamp, Hamburg, and the late Walter D. Schell.
He attended Hamburg Area High School and was employed by Materion Brush for 30 years.
Bruce enjoyed being in the mountains, his dogs and riding his ATV.
He was a generous, kind and giving person and enjoyed being with family and friends. He will be missed deeply by all who loved and knew him.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Richard F. Kamp.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are three brothers, Cory Schell and his companion, Debbie, Hamburg, Dale Schell and his companion, Lisa, Shoemakersville, and Eric Schell and his companion, Christie, Schuylkill Haven; stepsister, Sherry, wife of Rick Endy, Hamburg; stepbrother, Scott, husband of Brenda Kamp, Hamburg; and stepniece, Jessica Kamp.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday from Burkey and Driscoll Funeral Home Inc., 40 S. Fourth St., Hamburg. A viewing will be held from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday and also from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. I was so blessed to have been loved by Bruce and to be such a special part of his life. He was the most loving, caring, compassionate companion anyone could ever ask for. Sadie and I truly love him with all our heart. Bruce will be forever remembered with fondest thoughts and memories.
