Anna Tice Obituary

Anna E. Tice, 98, died Saturday at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born in Lebanon, on Dec. 22, 1915, she was a daughter of the late George and Elizabeth Kolla Arnt.

She was married to the late Earl C. Tice, who died in 1974.

She was a member of the former St. Francis de Sales Church, Mount Carbon.

Anna was preceded in death by a grandson, Robert Baylor; a granddaughter, Cindy Dalio; a great-granddaughter, Tanya Guldin; sisters, Catherine Swoyer, Margaret Matthew, Mary Whitman and Elizabeth Matthews; and brothers, George Arnt Jr., Matthias Arnt, Joseph Arnt, Anthony Arnt, Frank Arnt and Anthony Arnt.

Surviving Anna are two daughters, Jacqueline Baylor, Reading, and Ernestine Buck, Schuylkill Haven; three sons, Earl, George and John Tice, all of Pottsville; sisters, Theresa Kale, Elsie Rasmussen, Josephine Ditzler, Frances Boyer and Barbara Weatherholtz, all of Lebanon; brothers, Frank Arnt and Pete Arnt, both of Lebanon; 17 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Calvary Chapel, with Deacon Jack Quirk officiating. Family and friends may call at the chapel from 9 a.m. until time of service. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home Inc., Sixth and West Market streets, is entrusted with the arrangements.
