Nancy Brennan Obituary

Nancy J. Brennan, 66, of Pottsville, entered into eternal rest Thursday morning at home.

Born June 3, 1950, she was a daughter of the late John and Laverne Koloymic Dukmen.

She was a member of the former Mary Queen of Peace Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville.

Upon graduating from Minersville High School, she attended and graduated from Empire Beauty School. She was retired from the PA Wine & Spirits Stores, where she had worked as a clerk.

Nancy found joy in spending time with her grandchildren, whether it was attending their sporting activities or just relaxing at home.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Brennan, and a brother, William Dukmen.

She is survived by a daughter, Denise Hughes, wife of Justin, Auburn; sons, Mark Brennan and Sandra Liddick, Minersville, and Albert Brennan, husband of Gina, Schuylkill Haven; brothers, Robert J. Dukmen, Seltzer, and Francis Dukmen, Hillside; a sister, Ruth Nase, wife of Jeff, Springfield, Va.; grandchildren, Sam, JT, Joe, Rachel, Jeremy and Aydan; nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Monday at Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, with pastor Mat Saxinger officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be held in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Pottsville. Al, Denise, and Mark, my mom and I were very sorry to hear about Nancy's passing. She was a such a nice person, I have fond memories of spending time with her at your house when I was a child. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
