Franklin Milner Obituary

Franklin Milner Sr., 78, of Schuylkill Haven, formerly of Jamaica, N.Y., passed away Friday at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Schuylkill S. Jackson Street.

Born in Manhattan, N.Y., Dec. 30, 1937, he was a son of the late Theodore Milner and Loretta Bender.

He was the husband of Y. Stephanie Reen Milner.

Franklin was formerly employed as a computer technician for Goldman Sachs.

He served in the Air Force. He was of the Catholic faith and a member of the Cambria Heights Block Association.

Franklin was a self-made, mild-mannered man. He raised several children in addition to his own and was well respected by his peers.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a daughter, Maria Milner, Texas; two sons, Franklin Milner Jr. and David Milner, both of New York; four granddaughters, Nikea and Onyae Harris, and Savannah and Emma Dawkins; son-in-law, William Dawkins Jr.

Services and interment will be privately held at the family's convenience. To extend online condolences, visit www.gsesfuneralhomes.com.
