Memorial service will be Friday, May 30, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at Church of Our Lady in Manannah for Jeffrey Michael Wampach, age 58, who passed away Sunday, February 2, 2014, at his home in McCook, NE. Rev. Brian Mandel will officiate and inurnment will be at St. Peter's Cemetery in Eden Valley. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to services at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home.
Jeff was born on March 22, 1955 in Minneapolis, MN to parents, Lloyd "Bud" Arthur and Celestine "Sally" Elizabeth (Foley) Wampach. He graduated from Harding High School, Marion, OH in 1973. He continued his education at the University of Miami, Miami, Ohio. Prior to moving to McCook, Jeff was a long time resident of Lander, WY where he was employed as an Agricultural Floater operator with the Farmer's Coop in Riverton, WY. Jeff moved from Wyoming to the McCook community about ten years ago. He had been employed by Frenchman Valley Coop as an Agricultural Floater Operator. He was an avid conservationist, sportsman and hunter along with his devoted and best friend, Cody, his German Shorthair Pointer canine. Survivors include his parents, Bud and Sally Wampach of Boca Grande, FL; one brother, Daniel Wampach and wife, Jacqueline, of Tucson, AZ; two sisters, Patti Rae and husband, Chuck Wittrock, of Gilbert, AZ and Trude Wampach of Boca Grande, FL; one nephew, Nicholas Wampach and fiancé, Stephanie Marble, of Peoria, AZ; and numerous family and a host of friends. Preceding him in death were his nephew, Weston Wampach; and maternal and paternal grandparents.

Jeff was a long time enjoyment at the
G & R for many years; as I Jan Yake and George Yake original owners and along with our customers enjoyed seeing Jeff in our establishment. George has passed also and perhaps they are sharing a laugh or two up there with the angels.
