Connor was born June 28, 1983 in St. Cloud, MN to Bobby and Alice McGee. Connor was an active, smart and hilarious child. These traits carried him into adulthood where his many attributes flourished.
Connor was a graduate of St. Cloud Technical High School where he discovered soccer, advancing to play with the St. Paul Fire, where he traveled far and learned from many. He then passed his knowledge on when he coached youth soccer and played at St. John's University. At St. Cloud Technical College he followed his grandfather's footsteps and became a skilled carpenter. Connor's other passions in life included first and foremost his son, Liam, whom he adored, and his family, who he loved. He traveled and crewed for the Freedom Flight Hot Air Balloon Team where he exercised compassion for a life of service. Connor had a love for life and strength of conviction. He found fellowship in AA where he had many friends. Connor was a member of DeMolay and Clearwater Masonic Lodge No. 28 AF & AM. Connor was also a talented and avid fisherman. He was an amazing, generous cook, and baked the "perfect" pecan pie.
Connor loved many, was loved by many and will truly be missed.
Survivors include his son, Liam McGee of St. Cloud, MN; parents, Robert "Bobby" and Alice (Carlson) McGee of St. Cloud, MN; sisters, Maureen McGee of St. Cloud, MN; and Caitlin (Adam Stokstad) McGee of St. Cloud, MN; also many cousins, aunts, uncles and wonderful friends.

I met Connor through St. Cloud travel soccer-- we were Rovers before we were Tigers. As we grew up together, our families grew together as well. Car pools, tournaments and away games to laces like Moorhead and Bemidji allowed us to connect outside of sports. Connor's competitive spirit was perhaps only matched by his friendly, warm and gregarious nature.
I am lucky to have spent many seasons as Connor's teammate and will never forget him.

I will never forgot his smiling face as he played at my house as a little boy, swung on the hammock with Chris and Anne the dog, or riding the hospital bed up and down with Chris. I always remembered his birthday, his laughter, and the friendship he shared with my son.As I liked to call him one of my adopted sons. I was heartbroken to hear of his passing.

Connor truly was a wonderful person. I remember watching part of his growth from the back room where all of us who worked with Bobby and Alice had the opportunity to share in the childhood of Connor and his sisters. I will miss him greatly.
