July 29, 1927 - January 31, 2014

Imelda Osgood, age 86, Waite Park died Friday, January 31, 2014 at home.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Grace Baptist Fellowship Church, Sartell, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the church. Burial will be at a later date in North Star Cemetery, St. Cloud. Funeral arrangements were made by Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud.

Imelda was born July 29, 1927 in St. Cloud to Louis and Clara (Hunck) Wesselman. She married Alden Osgood on April 19, 1947 in St. Cloud. Imelda worked as a telephone operator and a photo retoucher. She was a member of Eastside VFW Post 4847 Auxiliary, TOPS, and Grace Baptist Fellowship Church, Sartell.

Survivors include daughter, Annette (Daniel) Kremer of St. Joseph, MN; son, Coy Osgood of Spokane, WA; sister, Louise Spaulding of Waite Park; brother, Walter Wesselman of Waite Park; two grandchildren, Andrew (Anh) Kremer; Alan (Jody) Kremer and four great grandchildren, Emily, Natalie, Caroline and Alden.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Alden on August 30, 1997, two brothers, Ralph and Cletus and two sisters, Elaine Imholte and Rita Lundstrom.

Imelda's pallbearers will be her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

I got to know Imelda when I managed the Legacy apartments over 4 years ago.Imelda was one of the nicest people you could ever meet in a lifetime. She always had a smile on her face and was so much fun to chat with.She will be missed!
