I remember going to Guatamala and telling Sarah's god child (god friend) that she had died. I delivered gifts and messages from you to the mother, grandmother and young girl. I did not know Sarah but the mother was so sad to hear the news and so grateful for all you and Sarah had done to help her family. She showed me letters and drawings. It was poignant to see how Sarah and your family gave to them when you were facing a hard journey yourself. I feel certain that in Guatamala Sarah lives in the family's hearts. Last week my 4 year old grandson said to me "when I close my eyes I can see Max walking in my brain and it makes me feel good". I hope when you close your eyes you can see Sarah "walking in your brain" and you feel joy at the moments she lives on in your memory. Take care. Roxanne Wilson

Sarah was a beautiful young lady. I was fortunate enough to be her 5th grade D.A.R.E. Officer at SPPM. Despite all she was going through with treatments, etc. she was one of the most bubbly, smiley, spirited and sincere students I had the pleasure of knowing. I was fortunate enough to run into her at CHS as well. While I cannot begin to imagine your pain of losing her so young, may you know that she touched the lives of many. Words fall short of expressing my deepest sympathy, but hoping it helps to know that others care and her memory lives on. Blessings, (former SCPD) Lynette Raymond

Dear Veronica, I know we have lost touch but your Sarah has never left my thoughts, nor have you. I realized she went to heaven when I saw her entombment (I was daily walking to the cemetery every day)...I have watched your gifts, and have been very touched. I cannot imagine, nor could I say I understand, because this has not happened to me...but I will tell you that empathy is there for you. I hope the clown fish are still alive, and I hope you are still involved with CommonHope. Your long ago friend, Lynn Lofgren (now Arnsdorf).
