Frank M. Lahr, 94 Paynesville Oct. 16, 1921 - Aug. 23, 2016 Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Assumption Catholic Church in Eden Valley for Frank M. Lahr, age 94, of Paynesville who passed away at Cherrywood Advanced Living of Richmond on Tuesday. Rev. Aaron Nett will officiate and burial will be at the Parish Cemetery in Eden Valley. Visitation will be 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 26, 2016 at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Eden Valley and one hour prior to services at the funeral home on Saturday. Knights of Columbus will pray at 5:30 p.m. followed by Parish Prayers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.  Frank was born October 16, 1921 in St. Nicholas to Peter and Elizabeth (Kinzer) Lahr, one of 16 children. He married Mabel Lounsbury on May 24, 1948 at Church of Our Lady in Manannah. They were married for 65 years and were blessed with 13 children.  Frank worked as a farmer. He was a member of Assumption Catholic Church in Eden Valley, was a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus and a member of Catholic United Financial.  Frank enjoyed going to auctions, threshing shows, his wife's cooking, playing cards and traveling. He was a hard worker who never complained. Frank was a kind, loving man with a strong Catholic faith and a great smile.  Frank is survived by his children, Linda Abraham (special friend Thomas Whittet) of New Ulm, Ronald L. of Eden Valley, Joyce (Wayne) Henfling of Eden Valley, Thomas (Jill) of Paynesville, Gene of Grey Eagle, Wayne of West Concord, Harry (Shannon) of Buffalo, Lynn Kay (Vance) Kesler of Roseville, Nancy (Jim) Segal of North Andover, MA, Joann (Jerry) Leimer of Cloquet; sister, Aurelia (Wilfred) Becker of Cold Spring; 23 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; beloved wife, Mabel in 2013; sons, Gary, Frank, Jr. and Dale; daughter in law, Linda Lahr; son in law, Glenn Abraham; 2 great grandchildren; siblings George, Betty Braun, Herbert, Leander, Peter, Lorraine Spoden, Isabel Bares, Ovide, Reynold, Alvin, Alcuin, Ralph, Marie Wieber, and Angeline Shay.  Obituary and guestbook available online at: www.williamsdingmann.com

Carol Lenzmeier, 81 Pearl Lake Dec 23, 1934 - Aug 22, 2016 Carol Lenzmeier, age 81, of Pearl Lake passed away in her home of 57 years on Monday, August 22, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, August 26, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Pearl Lake. Fr. Ron Weyrens will officiate and burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be held 4-8 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to the service on Friday, both at the church. Parish prayers will be at 4:15 p.m. Thursday at the church. Memorials are preferred to Holy Cross School. Carol Maureen Laudenbach was born December 23, 1934 to Frank and Marcella (Schill) Laudenbach. After graduating from high school, she worked as a secretary for both General Mills in Minneapolis and for the V.A. in St. Cloud. Carol married Mickey Lenzmeier in St. Augusta on September 1, 1958. They were dairy farmers in the Pearl Lake area until retiring in 2006. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church where she was active in Christian Mothers, Rec Club Board, School Board, Church Choir, and also taught mini-courses at Holy Cross School. She was also a long-time volunteer, through the 2015-2016 school year, at the Holy Cross School Library.  Carol enjoyed playing Euchre, baking her delicious homemade bread, and spending time with her loving family, including the annual summer trips to Bugbee Hive Resort; she had just completed a 16th straight trip to Bugbee one week ago. She was happiest in her role as a wife, mother, and grandmother. Carol is survived by her children, Linda (Bob) Kunkel of Pearl Lake, Michael (Bonnie) of St. Cloud, Robert of Staples, Lois of Pleasant Lake, Mary (Greg) Mueller of Pearl Lake, Joseph (Coreen) of Crystal, David (Frankie) of Minneapolis, and Louis of Plymouth; grandchildren, Justin, Hannah, and Mitchell Kunkel, Andrew, Abby, Alex, Austin, Jake, Grace, Sophia, Gabriella, McEwen, and Arabella Lenzmeier; brothers, Harvey (Adeline), Tom (Beatty), Bob (Shirley), Russell (Connie), and Gary (Marlene) Laudenbach; sisters, Jackie Koshiol and Barbara (Rick) Schuldt; brothers-in-law, Orville Cremers and Don Lommel; and sister-in-law, Dorine Laudenbach. Levine, Robert*  
Robert "Bob" S. Levine, 95 Saint Cloud March 2, 1921 - August 25, 2016 Robert "Bob" Sherwood Levine, age 95, of St. Cloud passed away Thursday at Country Manor Healthcare Center, Sartell. Arrangements have been entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Sauk Rapids.  Robert was born on March 2, 1921 to Robert Carl and Hattie Belle (Hesford) Levine in Park Falls, WI. On August 29, 1942 he married Mae Norris in Cannon Falls, MN. Robert "Bob" proudly served in WWII in the Pacific Theatre from 1942-1945 in New Guinea and the Philippines.  He was a SGT and Tank Commander in Company C, 44TH Tank Battalion.  He participated in the Allied landing at Luzon with MacArthur.  Bob's tank Company C, received a Presidential Unit Citation for their actions in the Philippines. After his time in the Armed Forces, Bob worked as a Correctional Officer at the St. Cloud Reformatory for 22 years before retiring in 1977. He was a member of Peace United Methodist Church and a former member of Hope Presbyterian where he was a Deacon. Bob enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, reading, playing cards and bocce ball.  Bob is survived by his children, Dennis (Judy) of Honey Brook, PA and Carol (Jerry) Wiggins-Shiffer of Sioux Falls, SD; grandchildren, Anika Levine, Elizabeth Levine, Aaron (Willow) Wiggins; and one great grandchild, Wilson Wiggins. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mae on November 7, 2012; siblings, Geraldine Johnson, Almeda Karsko, Charolette Deurr, Ted Levine, Richard Levine; and step brother, Lyle Lund.  In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the Coborn Cancer Center.  Memorial services and burial in Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, Little Falls, MN will be at a later date.  Obituary and guestbook available online at: www.williamsdingmann.com
