Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at St. Augustine's Catholic Church in St. Cloud, for Angeline K. "Angie" Bemboom, age 86, of St. Cloud, who passed away on Friday, September 14, 2012 at the Country Manor Nursing Home in Sartell. Reverend Luke Steiner, OSB will officiate. Burial will take place in the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls on Thursday.
Family and friends may call after 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday at the Church in St. Cloud.
Angie was born on March 19, 1926 in Mayhew Lake, Minnesota to John and Rose (Haus) Schreder. She married Marcus F. Bemboom on March 13, 1945 in Sauk Rapids. Angie was a seamstress all of her life, starting at Herberger's making draperies and later in life had her own seamstress business. She was a member of St. Augustine's Catholic Church and participated in the choir most of her life. Angie also volunteered her time at the St. Cloud Hospital in the gift shop and by visiting the sick with her husband.
She enjoyed playing cards (especially bridge), and traveling. Angie also treasured the time spent with her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Angie is survived by her children, Bob (Sharon) of Maple Grove, Bill (Mary) of Buffalo, Bruce (Luz) of Maple Grove and Kathy Hackbarth (Ron Haugen) of Albertville; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two sisters, Mary and Susan.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Mark in 2009; brothers and sisters, Eddie, Gene, Leonard, Teresa, and Louise.
