Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 10, 2014 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Eden Valley for Angeline A. Mausehund, age 85, who passed away Tuesday at her home. Rev. Bryan Hopfensperger will officiate and burial will be at Manannah Union Cemetery, Manannah. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Eden Valley and one hour prior to the services Monday at the church.
Angeline was born July 9, 1928 in St. Cloud to Fred & Alvina (Haag) Hommerding. She married Frank Mausehund on April 8, 1948 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Eden Valley. Angeline was a homemaker who worked side by side with her husband farming until 1971, when they moved into Eden Valley. She moved to Richmond after becoming blind to live with her niece, Becky Peart and her family. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church where she was the organist for over 40 years, she also played organ at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Cold Spring for many years. Angeline was a home interior decorator and an avid collector of angels. She spent many wonderful, happy hours tending to her yard and beautiful flower gardens.
Survivors include her sister, Shirley (Maynard) Yungk of Eden Valley; and several nieces and nephews. Angeline was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank on Sept. 24, 2008; son, Donald on Mar. 12, 1993; and brother, Clifford Hommerding.
Memorials are preferred to St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Eden Valley.
