Blanche M. Haney, 95

Funeral Services will be 11:30 a.m. Friday, November 16, 2012 at Becker United Methodist Church in Becker for Blanche M. Haney, age 95, who passed away Wednesday at Lake Ridge Care Center in Buffalo. Rev. Ken Felska will officiate and burial will be in the Becker Cemetery. Friends and family may call one hour prior to the services Friday at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Becker.
Blanche (Stodola) Haney was born on May 2, 1917 on the family farm in Becker Township, Sherburne County to Thomas & Libby (Haberman) Stodola. She attended school at Dist. 49 in Becker Township and graduated from Becker High School. In 1938 she married Harold Haney and they had one son, Mark. After their marriage, they bought the family farm from Harold's parents and lived there for almost fifty years. Blanche was a member of the Becker United Methodist Church. She enjoyed quilting, cake decorating, rug braiding, crossword puzzles, gardening, and growing flowers.
Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Marcia Haney of Monticello; grandson, Matthew Haney (fiancé, Joey Jacobson) of Duluth; granddaughter, Melanie Haney (fiancé, Kevin Craven) of Monticello; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Blanche was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold in 1994; son, Mark in 1992; sisters, Irene Johnson and Libby Doering; and brothers, Clarence, Carl, and Thomas Stodola.
