Brian James Henrich, age 35, of Eden Prairie, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 27, 2012. Brian was born on March 17, 1977 in Butte, Montana, to his proud parents Gary and Irene Henrich. He was the beloved younger brother of Teresa Henrich Bishop.

On July 15, 2006, Brian married Gena Barthelemy of St. Cloud, at Holy Family Catholic Church in St. Louis Park. Brian and Gena are the adoring parents of Zoe, age four, and a son expected in February 2013. Brian's love and dedication to Gena and Zoe was unparalleled, and well documented in the thousands of photographs he took of his family over the years.

Known for his quick wit, Brian was also a talented photographer, an excellent chef and an avid runner. Brian and Gena worked to instill in Zoe both compassion and curiosity, a love of reading and unwavering support for the Minnesota Vikings.

Brian was preceded in death by his grandfathers George Link and James Henrich, and grandmother Irene Link. Brian is survived by his wife, Gena Henrich, daughter Zoe, and an unborn baby boy expected in February 2013. Brian also leaves behind his parents, Gary and Irene, sister Teresa and niece Miranda, and grandmother LaVerne, all of Butte MT. He will be missed by parents-in-law Patrick and Sharon Barthelemay of St. Cloud, brothers-in-law Troy (Judy) and Chad (Missy) and their children Kim, Anne, Alex, Elise, Lauren and Patrick, and many other aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, Oct. 4 at 12 Noon at the Basilica of St. Mary (16th and Hennepin Ave. S. in downtown Minneapolis). A visitation will be held on Weds, Oct. 3 from 5 - 9 PM at Gearty-Delmore Funeral Chapel (15800 37th Ave. N, Plymouth, MN 55446) and at the Basilica one hour before the mass. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Brian Henrich Family Benefit Fund at any TCF bank branch location.
