Harold M. "Hotrod" Hoffman passed away at the age of 83 on December 28, 2012 at his residence in Harlingen, Texas.
He was born on January 1, 1929 in St. Joseph, MN to Victor and Louise Hoffmann. He was married to Helen Washebek for 45 years. She passed away in 1995 from cancer. He then married Patty Clark on May 2, 1998.
He was a professional truck-driver with the Fingerhut Corporation. He retired after 27 years and 3,904,876 miles of accident free driving.
He is survived by his wife Patty; children, Shirley Holt, Kathy (Joel) Hunstinger, Mike (Connie), Linda (Dan) Condon, Pat (Kim), LuAnn (Leroy) Lehmeier, Donna (Bob) Ramstad, and Mary (Jim) Jarnot; brother, Bob (Karen), sisters, Betty (Bill) Kutz, Delores (Meryl) Ford, and Aileen; 19 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 2 step-daughters, 5 step-grandchildren and 11 step great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife (Helen), his parents, his brothers Victor and Arnie, his sister Shirley and grandson Jamie Lehmeier.
In celebration of his life there will be a gathering onn January 18, 2013 at The Landing in St. Anna, MN from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
