Lucille Marlene Fuchs, 76

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 24, 2014 at Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church in Rockville, MN for Lucille M. Fuchs, age 76, who died peacefully at Saint Benedict Senior Center, St. Cloud, MN, surrounded by her loving family.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 23, 2014 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Wenner Funeral Home in Cold Spring. Visitation will continue Thursday morning from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at the church. Arrangements are with the Wenner Funeral Home in Cold Spring, MN.
Lucille was born in Rockville, MN to Nicholas and Gertrude (Loesch) Schneider. Lucille married Richard Fuchs on May 24, 1956 in Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Rockville. Lucille was a member and past president of the Rockville Christian Women, a Girl Scout troop leader, cook at Holy Cross School, Assumption Nursing Home and Brighter Beginnings Day Care and operated the Curb Stop Café in Rockville with her sister Alice and brother Alvin.
Lucille will always be remembered as a loving, compassionate, soft hearted person. She enjoyed her family, children, the elderly, cooking, gardening, canning, taking care of her flowers, playing bingo with an occasional trip to the casino and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Richard; children, Bruce (Linda) Fuchs of St. Cloud, Connie (John) Bonacci, Mary (Daniel) Streit of St. Joseph, Jean (Ralph) Walz, Kevin (Cheri) Fuchs, Pam (Harold) Walz, Kenny (Nicole) Fuchs, Victoria (Karl) Holthaus of Cold Spring, and Steve (Wendy) Fuchs of Twin Falls, ID; 32 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. Surviving siblings are Ervin Schneider, Joan Schneider, Alcuin (Doris) Schneider, Delphine (Marlin) Ness, Dorothy Porwoll, Jeanette Schepers, Alice Schneider, Ronald (Barb) Schneider, and Alvin (Kim) Schneider.
She was preceded in death by her parents; grand- daughter, Jennifer Bonacci; siblings, Richard Schneider, Lorraine and Allie Neiters, sisters-in-law, Ione Schneider, Theresa Fuchs; brothers-in-law, Thomas Schepers, Herbert Porwoll, Ralph, Donald, and Kenneth Fuchs.
The family would especially like to thank the CentraCare doctors and the St. Benedict Senior Center staff for the exceptional care Lucille received as a resident.
