Marijane Ann (Mondloch) Kedrowski, 86

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, January 13, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sauk Rapids for Marijane A. Kedrowski, age 86, who passed away Friday at her home. Rev. Ronald Weyrens will officiate and burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Sauk Rapids and one hour prior to the services Monday at the church. Christian Women (St. Monica's Society) will pray the rosary at 5:00 p.m. followed by parish prayers at 7:30 Sunday evening at the funeral home in Sauk Rapids.
Marijane was born July 10, 1927 in rural Cold Spring to John B. & Veronica (Terres) Mondloch. A St. Cloud Tech graduate, she married Francis "Sonny" Kedrowski on June 28, 1947 at St. Augustine Catholic Church in St. Cloud. Marijane was a member of Sacred Heart Parish, Sauk Rapids, St. Monica's Christian Women Society, serving as President, Daughters of Isabella, she taught religious education classes, was a lector, Eucharistic Minister, and bazaar ticket table manager. She was also St. Cloud Deanery President, Sauk Rapids American Legion Post #254 Auxiliary President, Sauk Rapids VFW
Post #6992 President. Marijane volunteered at the St. Cloud Hospital, Catholic Charities, Sacred Heart School, Good Shepherd Home and the Food Shelf. She housed many disabled veterans and was a lifetime friend of the Poor Clare Sisters. She worked for the U.S. Census, was an election clerk, waited tables, and was employed with the Creamery and Drs. Cesnik and Alden. Marijane loved her family, her volunteering, and her church. Her kitchen table hosted many card and dice games, and Sonny and Janie's fish frys fed hundreds over the years.
Marijane is survived by her children, Kirk (Jean) Kedrowski of Sauk Rapids, Jane (Harry) Bares of Bellevue, NE, Judy (Ron) Cruser of Sauk Rapids, Timothy (Jeanne) Kedrowski of Rice, and Mary Beth (Buzz) Cripe of Rice; sister, Marie Mondloch of St. Cloud; 15 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Francis "Sonny"; brothers, Roman, Virgil, and Leo; and sisters, Martha Freeman and Margaret Mondloch.
Marijane's family would love to say thank you to the St. Cloud Hospital nursing staff on the 5th floor, especially Andrea; and the hospice care staff, especially Tami U.
Memorials are preferred to the Poor Clare Monastery or Sacred Heart Church.
