Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Waite Park for Mary Ann Bible, 83, of Waite Park who died on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at Sterling Park Care Center in Waite Park with family by her side. Reverend Matthew Kuhn will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Family and friends may call between 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Friday at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud and after 10:00 a.m. on Saturday at the church. The Daughters of Isabella will pray the rosary at 4:00 p.m. followed by parish prayers at 6:00 p.m. and the Waite Park American Legion Silver Star Unit #428 Auxiliary at 6:30 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
Mary Ann was born on March 16, 1928 in Waite Park, Minnesota to Paul and Agnes (Dzieweczynski) Bible. She graduated from Cathedral High School and lived in Waite Park all of her life. Mary Ann was employed in quality assurance for Stearns Manufacturing for 45 years. After retirement she worked at the Waite Park American Legion with weddings, bingo and pull tabs. Mary Ann was a member of St. Joseph's Parish, the Daughters of Isabella and the Waite Park American Legion Unit #428 Ladies Auxiliary.
Mary Ann will be remembered for her love of God and family. She treasured time spent with her nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She enjoyed travelling with family and friends, quilting, fishing, playing bingo, bowling, and casino trips.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Linda Carr and Mary Carr both of Des Moines, IA, Kathy Chandy of Rosemount, Janelle Turner of Windsor Heights, IA, Janine Woodsmall of Johnston, IA, Douglas and Duane Bible both of St. Cloud, Glenn Bible of Lake Crystal, Brian Bible of Mesa, AZ, Lynn Bible of Scottsdale, AZ, David Bible of St. Joseph, Paul Warner of Washington, UT; and sister-in-law, Darlene Bible-Walz of Scottsdale, AZ.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Harold and Daniel Bible; sisters, Joan Warner and Dolores Carr; nephews, Earl Warner and Michael Carr; and niece, DeAnne Bible-Gorder.
