Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 am on Friday, December 27th, 2013 at St. Wendelin's Catholic Church in Luxemburg for Theresa M. Loehlein who passed away Sunday at Quiet Oaks Hospice House. Rev. Ralph Zimmerman will officiate and burial will be in the Parish cemetery. Friends and family may call from 4:00 - 8:00 pm on Thursday, December 26th at the Mary Hall, St. Wendelin's Church and one hour prior to services on Friday at Mary Hall. St. Anne's Christian Women of Luxemburg will pray at 6:00 pm followed by Parish prayers at 7:00 pm on Thursday evening.

Theresa was born on November 9, 1940 in Avon, Minnesota to Anton and Martha (Miller) Barthel. She married Gene N. Loehlein on February 7, 1959 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in St. Anthony, Minnesota. Theresa was employed at Fingerhut, Stearns Manufacturing and JCPenney Department Store. She was a member of St. Wendelin's Catholic Church in Luxemburg and St. Anne's Christian Women of Luxemburg. Her favorite activities included sewing, playing cribbage, taking trips to the casino, and especially spending time with her family.

Theresa is survived by her husband, Gene; children, Debbie (Mark) Ramsdell of St. Cloud, and Bev (Matt Ritzer) Loch of St. Augusta; grandchildren, Matthew and Christina Ramsdell, Dan (Steph), Nic, and Heidi Loch; brothers and sisters, Ray (Hilda) Barthel of Holdingford, Tony (Viola) Barthel of Richmond, Dennis (Tootie) Barthel of Waite Park, Marge (Ken) Kollodge of Oakdale, Jerry (Diane) Barthel of Sartell, Gene (Shirley) Barthel of Rosemont, and Janet (Duane) Orton of Sauk Rapids.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Theresa's family would like to thank the St. Cloud Hospital Hospice and Quiet Oaks Hospice for the excellent care they provided Theresa.

Memorials are preferred to Quiet Oaks Hospice.
