Marie B. Olson, 84

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, St. Cloud for Marie B. Olson, age 84, who passed away peacefully Friday at her home. Rev. Thomas Knoblach will officiate and burial will be at St. Martin Catholic Cemetery in St. Martin. Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. Monday at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Sauk Rapids and one hour prior to the services Tuesday at the church. Women of the Moose will pray at 5:30 p.m., followed by Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 622 Auxiliary at 6:00 p.m., St. Anthony Christian Mothers at 6:30 p.m., and parish prayers at 7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home in Sauk Rapids.
Marie was born Feb. 29, 1928 in St. Anna to Frank & Bernice (Chapp) Morgel. She married Clarence Ramler on Oct. 8, 1946 in St. Anna. Marie lived in St. Martin for 25 years and moved to the Sartell area in 1979. She was a homemaker and sold Avon products. Marie volunteered at the St. Cloud Hospital, the Sartell Elementary School, at the Paramount Theater and was also an election judge. Marie was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, St. Anthony Christian Mothers, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 622 Auxiliary, and the St. Cloud Loyal Order of the Moose. She loved playing bingo and strived to win the $1,000.00 prize. Marie also enjoyed sewing, cross stitch, birds, cooking, baking and spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include her sons and daughters, Don (Sue) Ramler of Eden Prairie, Al (Joan) Ramler of Webster, Arnie Ramler of St. Paul, Sharon Ramler (Randy Wahlstrom) of Champlin, Dave Ramler of St. Cloud, and Michele (Terry) Kolodjski of Oak Grove; sisters, Elizabeth Nathan of St. Joseph, Marjorie Roering of Glenwood, and Genny (Tony) LaBuda of St. Cloud; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Marie was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Clarence Ramler in 1971; second husband, Clifford Olson; siblings, Frankie, Alois, Edmund, Steven, and Paul Morgel, Bridget Benson, and Delores Schwinghammer.
The family would like to thank St. Cloud Hospital Hospice and especially Tammy and Nicole for the excellent care given to Marie.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Cloud Hospital Hospice.
