Richard Egerman Obituary
Richard was born on February 9, 1926 in St. Cloud to George & Marie (Steinworth) Egerman. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He married Mary Jo Copa on October 24, 1953 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls. The couple lived in Milwaukee, WI for a short period after their marriage and returned to St. Cloud in 1956. Richard owned and operated the St. Cloud Credit Bureau until his retirement in 1987. He was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church, Association of Credit Bureaus, Top Hatters, Jaycee's, Exchange Club, and Chamber of Commerce. Richard was a generous person with a big heart, and always willing to lend a helping hand. He enjoyed woodworking and restoring old vehicles. Richard easily made friends with his fabulous sense of humor.
Richard is survived by his children, Kevin (Carla Sariin) of Minneapolis, Brian (Margo Fjelstad) of St. Paul, Mary Pat (Thomas) Denne of St. Augusta, Bruce (Barb Harlander) of St. Cloud, Craig (Jeanine) of Lakeville, Sara (John) Ellis of Sartell; siblings, Virgil (Mildred) of St. Cloud, Marion (Don) Hall of Minneapolis, Virginia (Joe) Symons of Minneapolis, Yvonne (Robert) Rader of Alexandria, Helen (Jerry) Waldschmidt of Grafton, WI; grandchildren, Geoffrey Egerman, Harrison Egerman, Mitchell Denne, Paul Denne, John Denne, Erin Egerman, Greta Egerman, Graham Egerman, Anna Ellis, Thomas Ellis, Kate Ellis; great grandchildren, Weston and Alyse Denne.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary Jo; brothers, Robert and Thomas.
Special thank you to all who cared for Richard at the Coborn's Cancer Center and the St. Cloud Hospital, 5 North.

I speak for all of us at Dutch Maid Bakery and we would like you all to know how special Dick was to us. Over the years he spent many a day in our front having coffee and visiting with Joe and Wally. We will miss his kindness,generosity and most of all his smile.
