Travis L. Lokken, 37

St. Cloud

Feb. 6, 1976 - Nov. 26, 2013

Travis was born in St. Cloud to Leonard and Cheryl (Rein) Lokken. After graduating from Apollo High School, Travis proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1994 - 1998 stationed in Yokosuka, Japan. In 1998, Travis went back to St. Cloud Technical and Community College to receive an Associate's Degree to become a licensed electrician. Travis loved fishing for anything that would bite and spending summer nights at the campfire surrounded by his family. In the winter time, Travis and his family would make their own rink and enjoy a good game of hockey. He was an avid fan of the Vikings, Twins, and most importantly Wild Hockey. Travis enjoyed cooking and baking for his family; especially Ruhbarb Cream Pie and homemade jam; always adding the extra special ingredient of love. Travis had a great sense of humor, quick wit, and a kind heart. His family meant the world to him. He will be dearly missed.

Survivors include his parents, Leonard and Cheryl of Outing; sisters, Leanne of Oronoco, Carrie (Steve) Sura of Sandstone, Jessica (Chip) LeMont of Sartell; nephews, Corey and Casey Sura; nieces, Sadie Sura, Marie and Ella LeMont; and several cousins, aunts, and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; aunts, Merideth Krier, Rebecca Dahlberg; uncles, Butch Rein, and Dick Lange.

A memorial service will be held at a later date with interment in Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, Little Falls.
