Dianne P. Fuhrer, 62 of Foley passed away due to a long battle with cancer on Sunday, April 8, 2012. Memorial service at the Fellowship Hall in Popple Creek MN on Thursday, April 12, 2012 from 3-6, service and prayer will begin at 6:00. Pastors Jim and Tina Von Wald will officiate. A luncheon will be served following the prayer.
Dianne was born to John and Pearl VanHoever (Wilcox) in 1949. She grew up in Carlton MN. She was united in marriage December 12, 1966 to Harold Fuhrer, the couple had 3 children, they lived in Pine River, St. Cloud and Sartell before settling down in rural Foley in 1983.
She was a Daycare provider, Waitress at the Blue Oaks Restaurant, Bartender at the American Legion, and Assembler at Gorecki Mfg. She was a very giving person who loved her many crafts, playing bingo, garage sales, shopping, fishing and camping.
Dianne was preceded in death by her parents John and Pearl (Wilcox) VanHoever, sister Evelyn and brother Randy VanHoever and is survived by her husband of 45 years Harold of Foley, daughters and son, Christina Cook of Bertha MN, Pam (Les) Scott of Oak Park MN, and Carl (Karen) Fuhrer of St. Joseph MN; 5 grandchildren, Faith Fuhrer of St. Joseph MN, Molly Snyder of Saginaw MI, Ashley Studanski of Foley MN, Samantha Scott of Foley MN, and Austin Scott of Foley MN. Brothers and Sister, Gene (Pat) VanHoever of Carlton MN, Jim (Peg) VanHoever of Wrenshall MN, Linda Hough of Carlton MN.
