Glenn E. Johnson, 59

Sartell

July 4, 1956 - January 4, 2016

Glenn Edward Johnson, age 59, Sartell, MN, formerly of Buffalo, MN, died Monday, January 4, 2016 at Quiet Oaks Hospice House, St. Augusta, MN.

Funeral services will be Friday, January 8, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Shepherd of the Pines Lutheran Church, Rice, MN. His cousin, Rev. Judith Carpenter will officiate. Visitation will be Thursday, January 7, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Burial will be in North Star Cemetery, St. Cloud, MN.

Glenn was born July 4, 1956 in Boston, MA to Donald F. and Doris (Musgrave) Johnson. He worked in sales and telemarketing as a trainer/leader throughout his career. Glenn played in a number of different bands in Central Minnesota throughout his life. All his musical "Friends" meant the world to him.

Survivors include a brother, Chet (Karen) Johnson of Sartell, MN; two nieces; Christina (Nate) Beack of Little Falls, MN; Stephanie Johnson of Sartell, MN; one nephew; Chad (Caroline) Johnson of Osceola, WI; two great nieces and four great nephews; step-son, Brandon (Beth) Cornwell of Hopkins, MN; one step-granddaughter, Alaina Cornwell; his "Brother" Gary Pruitt of St. Paul, MN.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Donnie Johnson.

Memorials are preferred to Tri County Humane Society.
