Funeral services celebrating the life of Jordan W. Buisman, 25, of Clear Lake will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at the Tri County Alliance Church in Clearwater. Jordan passed away on Monday, November 26, 2012 from complications of epilepsy. Reverend Anthony Stanley will officiate. Burial with military honors will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 3, 2012 at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, Little Falls.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday with a prayer service at 5:00 p.m. at Daniel Funeral Home in Clearwater. Visitation will continue after 9:00 a.m. on Saturday at the church.
Jordan was born on October 29, 1987 in St. Cloud, Minnesota to Wesley and Lisa (Stickney) Buisman. His father passed away in 1989 and he was raised by his mother and Bill Riley. He graduated from Kimball High School in 2006 and joined the U.S. Marine Corps. He served 5 ½ years as a Combat Videographer in Quantico, VA. Jordan was medically retired as a Corporal in 2011 and was currently majoring in Mass Communications at SCSU.
Jordan enjoyed spending time with family and friends, free ride BMX and watching movies.
He is survived by his parents, Bill and Lisa Riley of Clear Lake; brothers, Devin at home and Darian Riley of Colorado; sister, Bonni (Paul) Walker of Avon; nephew and godson, Ethan Walker; grandparents, Diana (Brian) Zander of Cokato, Jim (Wilma) Buisman of Willmar, Maxie (Bill) Riley of Hebron, KY; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father and great grandparents.
