Larry G. Nystrom, age 54, of Kimball, died Friday, January 25, 2013 at his home in Kimball.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Kimball with Fr. Ken Riedemann as the Celebrant. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Kimball and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the church. A prayer service will be held 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Larry Gerard Nystrom was born October 10, 1958 in St. Cloud to Manley and Dolores (Kunkel) Nystrom. He graduated from Kimball Area High School with the class of 1977. Larry worked the family farm prior to becoming a Union Boilermaker for Boilermakers Local 647 for the past 18 years. Larry enjoyed gardening, hunting, farming, raising chickens & pigs, playing solitaire and cribbage, and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his four children Jacob (Kristine) of West Fargo, ND, Jennifer (Erik) Ludlow of Horace, ND, Lucas (Glynis) of Moorhead and Lindsey of Kimball; seven grandchildren Hailey, Maria, Morgan, Alex, Hunter, Faye and Carmen; mother Dolores Nystrom of Kimball; sisters and brothers Betty Ann Nystrom (Bruce Mancini), Joan Nystrom (Jeff Johnson), Patty (Terry) Nelson, Kristie (Jim) Orn and Chuck Nystrom, all of Kimball; and sister in law Brenda Nystrom (Greg) Mass of Clearwater. He is preceded in death by his father, Manley and Brother, Donald.

Rarely do I find someone I like in the first minute after shaking hands. Larry is one of those people. His generosity and hospitality will be missed by many. Condolences to all of the Nystrom family and all extended family and friends.
