In loving memory of Leland D. Larson born May 8, 1922 in St. Cloud, Minnesota and passed December 13, 2013 in Denver Colorado. Leland was a devoted husband preceded in death by his wife Ilene; a loving and cherished father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and uncle. Lee was a World War II Veteran, an Arvada, CO Rotarian for 30 years, a life member of The American Legion and an avid stamp collector. Lee endeared himself to all he meant with his witty sense of humor, his compassionate nature and his impeccable integrity. He was immensely loved and will be immensely missed by daughter Charllotte Amant and her husband Bob Todd; grandchildren Brenda Sosa and Mark Barnard; 3 great grandchildren Nick Sosa, Amanda and Stephanie Barnard; brother Owen Larson, Willmar and several nieces, nephews and friends. Gathering followed by internment to be held Saturday December 21st, 11 am to 1 pm at Fairmount Mortuary, Denver. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Lee's honor to the Wounded Warriors or the Humane Society.
