March 20, 1930 ~ July 7, 2013

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in St. Cloud for Louise I. Dingmann, age 83, of St. Cloud who passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2013 at Quiet Oaks Hospice House in St. Augusta. Reverend Thomas Knoblach will officiate. Entombment will take place at Assumption Cemetery Mausoleum.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud and after 9:30 a.m. on Thursday at the Church. Parish prayers will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Louise was born on March 20, 1930 in Cold Spring, Minnesota to Bernard and Cecilia (Doubek) Schmitz.

She married James Dingmann on June 10, 1954 at St. James Catholic Church in Jacobs Prairie. Louise was a homemaker as well as working in the Laundry Department at the St. Cloud Hospital for over 37 years. She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Christian Women, and the V.F.W. Auxiliary Unit #428.

She enjoyed quilting and embroidering, fishing, playing cards, and trips to the casino. Louise especially loved all the time spent with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Jim; children, Carol (Gerry) Johannes of Holdingford, Deb (Joe) Walz of Eagan, Linda (Leon) Traeger of Cold Spring, Michelle Kusy of St. Cloud, Wayne (Chris) of St. Cloud; grandchildren, Nathan, Eric, Todd, Chad, Jenna, Lindsay, and Adam; great-grandchildren, Kendra, Trevor, Brynn, and Lily; sisters and brothers, Eileen (Al) Walz, Donald (Mary Lou), Alfred (Carol), Leona Jungels, Robert (Mary Ann), Edmund (Joanne) and Leroy (JoAnn); sister-in-laws, Dorothy and Lorraine.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents; brothers and sister, George, Ervin and Marie.

A Very Special Thank You to the staff at both the Quiet Oaks Hospice House and the St. Cloud Hospital Hospice for the care given to Louise and her family during this difficult time.
