A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, St. Cloud for Phillip F. "Bumpy" Werner, age 56 of St. Cloud who passed on Friday, January 25, 2013 at the St. Cloud Hospital. Reverend Michael Becker will officiate. Inurnment will take place at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, Little Falls.

Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. on Saturday at the church in St. Cloud.

Bumpy was born on March 18, 1956 in St. Cloud, Minnesota to Quentin and Rosemary (Becker) Werner. He grew up in Eden Valley. Bumpy served his country in the United States Coast Guard. He was employed as a nurses aide at the St. Cloud Veterans Affairs Medical Center prior to being an over the road truck driver.

Bumpy is survived by his wife, Debbie; children, Phillip, Jr. of Oakdale, Alisa (Cory) Hoffarth of St. Cloud, and Damon (Sarah) Rudnitski of Sartell; seven grandchildren, Alexis, Hayden, Lucas, Jesse, Caleb, Aubrey and Elayna; brother, Paul (Laura) of Buffalo; sisters, Mary (Tom Reev) Werner of Minneapolis, and Connie (Joel) Fleck of Burke, Virginia; and sister-in-law; Kim Werner of St. Stephen.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Peter; and grandson, Jared Decobra.

Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
