Rosemary was born January 8, 1926 in St. Cloud to John and Julia (Jueneman) Benson. She lived in the St. Cloud area most of her life. She was a 1943 graduate of St. Cloud Technical High School. Rosemary married Jerome (Jerry) Binsfeld on September 28, 1946 at St. Mary's Cathedral in St. Cloud with whom she was co-owner of Binsfeld Jewelers until their retirement in 1987.
Rosemary was a member of the St. Peter's Catholic Church, St. Cloud VFW #428 Auxiliary, the Eagles Aerie #622 Auxiliary, and RSVP. She especially enjoyed spending time volunteering at the many different places around St. Cloud after her retirement. Her most enjoyable times were spent with her family whether it was going "up north" or to Florida or just being at home with them. Golfing was a passion for Rosemary. A highlight of her golfing days was a hole-in-one! Her husband, Jerry encouraged her to golf and it became her source of healing after his death. Rosemary was also an excellent cook and seamstress and spent much time sewing and creating various projects.
Rosemary is survived by her children, Daniel (Rosemary) of Cold Spring, Kathleen (Rance) Armstrong of Sauk Rapids, Chuck (Jody) of Sartell, and Jeffrey (Connie) of Sartell. She has ten grandsons, one granddaughter, and three great-grandsons. She is also survived by sisters Rita Proell and Lucille Hetherington both of St. Cloud.
Her husband Jerome preceded her in death in 1989.
Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
