William "Bill" A. Hutchison

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sauk Rapids for William "Bill" A. Hutchison, age 61, of Rice who passed away at the St. Cloud Hospital on Saturday. Rev. Ronald Weyrens will officiate and burial with full military honors will be at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery near Little Falls. Friends and relatives may call from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday and after 9:30 a.m. on Thursday at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Sauk Rapids. Parish prayers will be at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home in Sauk Rapids.
William "Bill" A. Hutchison was born on May 1, 1951 in Great Falls, Montana to William and Ivadell (Peterson) Hutchison. On March 17, 1979 he was united in marriage to Sandy Wolch in St. Cloud. Bill lived in the Rice area for most of his life. He worked for the City of St. Cloud, retiring in 2008. Bill served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, horse shoes, 4 wheeling, boating, camping and his grandchildren. Bill had a great sense of humor. He was an innovator, a handy man, a true fighter in life and had an infectious personality. He could light up any room.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Sandy of Rice; sons and daughter, Billy (Natalie) Hutchison of Rice, Laura (Michael) Douvier of St. Cloud and Scott (Amber) Schauer of Sauk Rapids; father-in-law, Arthur Wolch of Little Falls; sisters and brother, Sharon (Richard) Fuches of Sartell, Sheila (Tom) Carney of Onalaska, WI, Joyce Trepanier of Sauk Rapids and Fred Hutchison of Sheboygan, WI; 11 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Johnny.
