Lloyd L. Weber, 86

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at St. Mary's Cathedral Lower Church in St. Cloud for Lloyd L. Weber, age 86, of St. Cloud, who passed away February 11 at the D.V.A. Hospital in St. Cloud. Burial will take place in Assumption Cemetery in St. Cloud with full military honors.
Relatives and friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Friday at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud. Parish Prayers will be 7 p.m. Visitation will continue after 9 a.m. on Saturday at the church.
Lloyd was born May 16, 1927 in St. Cloud, MN to Jacob and Josephine (Blattner) Weber. After graduating from St. Cloud Cathedral he served in the U.S. Air Force twice from 1946 until 1952. He attended Northwestern T.V. and Electronics Institute. He worked at WDSM TV in Duluth and later at Honeywell in Minneapolis. He married Bernadine Slomkowski on September 5, 1964 at St. John Cantius Catholic Church in St. Cloud. He became a Stencil Cutter for Cold Spring Granite and Monumental Sales. He retired in 2003. He was a member of VFW Post 428 and St. Mary's Cathedral. Lloyd always enjoyed electronics and was an expert woodworker.
Lloyd is survived by his wife Bernadine and son Thomas both of St. Cloud, brother James Weber of Spring Lake Park, sister Marie (William) Decker of Decorah, Iowa and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents, brothers and sisters Ethelreda Brown, Virginia Weber, Harriet Lahr, Virgil Weber and Howard Weber.
Memorials are preferred.
