Carol J. Oltz, 52

Sauk Rapids

Dec. 27, 1961 - March 27, 2014

Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at Shepherd of the Pines Lutheran Church in Rice for Carol J. Oltz, age 52 of Sauk Rapids who passed away on Thursday in St. Cloud. Rev. Robert Trinklein will officiate and burial will be at Trinity Lutheran Church in Sauk Rapids. Friends and relatives may call from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Sauk Rapids on Monday evening and also one hour prior to services at the church in Rice on Tuesday morning. There will be a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home on Monday evening.

Carol was born on December 27, 1961 in St. Cloud to Royce and Delores "Dolly" (Kron) Smith. She loved being a homemaker and previously worked as a PCA in home health care. Carol was a member of Shepherd of the Pines Lutheran Church. She was a very talented guitar player and she enjoyed watching movies, riding Harley with Steve, taking trips and being with friends and family. Carol was free spirited, kind and caring. She loved gardening and she loved her boots! Carol was very fun and truly genuine.

Survivors include her husband, Steve of Sauk Rapids; parents, Dolly and Ed Wiesner of St. Cloud; step children, Julie and Justin Hultquist of Duluth; siblings, Tom (Joan) Smith of St. Cloud, Sue (Mike) Iten of St. Cloud and Teresa (David "Norgy") Asleson of Clancy, MT; and her two babies, Floyd and Josie. She was preceded in death by her father, Royce Smith; and her brothers, Steve and David Smith.
