Father John Paul Knopik will officiate and burial will take place in the parish cemetery following the mass. Ray died unexpectedly in his home early Thursday morning. There will be a visitation from 4-8PM Monday, May 19th and again from 10AM until the time of the service at All Saints Catholic Church-St. Hedwig. The Knights of Columbus will pray the rosary at 7PM at the church Monday evening. Arrangements are being made with the Miller-Carlin Funeral Home of Holdingford.

Ray was born March 15, 1929 to Charles and Mary (Wilczek) Waletzko on a farm near Avon. He graduated from Holdingford Public School, and went back to his family farm where he lived and worked as a farmer. He married Josephine Kuklok on September 21, 1954 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Opole. Together they raised their six children on the farm which became a century farm in 2013. Besides raising dairy cattle and crop farming, Ray also worked as a seed dealer for Wensman for many years. He eventually retired from farming in 1999. Working on the farm was a big part of his life but he also greatly enjoyed fishing, working on his John Deere tractors, and spending time with his family. Ray was a Grand Knight and an Honorary Life Member of the Knights of Columbus, and a very active member of St. Hedwig's Catholic Church where he was also a trustee member.

Ray is survived by his wife Josephine Waletzko, Avon; his children Bruce (Jean) Waletzko, Federal Way, WA; Ann (Jeffery) Krych, Holdingford; Duane (Denise) Waletzko, Sartell; Mary (Randy) Skroch, Swanville; Mark (Kari) Waletzko, Sartell; Jeffrey (Jane) Waletzko, Cold Spring; his 14 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren; his siblings Lorraine (Michael) White, Florida; Edward (Maryann) Waletzko, Waite Park; Wallace (Jeanette) Waletzko, Holdingford; and his sister-in-law Jean Waletzko, Avon.
