Helen Catherine Krueger, 93

Waite Park

May 5, 1921 - June 4, 2014

Helen was born in Hendrum, Minnesota to the late Anna (Court) and George Weber on May 5, 1921.  Helen passed away peacefully with family by her side on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at Sterling Park Health Care Center in Waite Park.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud and after 9:00 a.m. on Saturday at church.  St. Joseph's Christian Women will pray at 5:00 p.m. and parish prayers will follow at 5:30 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Waite Park.  Reverend Mark Innocenti will officiate.  Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

As a young lady Helen moved to Rockville where she married Jerome J. Krueger on June 30, 1942 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.  They moved to Waite Park where Helen owned and operated a daycare business from 1959 until retirement in 1989.  She was a member of St. Joseph's Parish, Marion Mission and Christian Women.

Helen enjoyed gardening and especially enjoyed playing cards. She will be remembered for her beautiful quilting and crocheting.

Helen is survived by her daughters, Leila (Jeffrey)  Blewett of FL, Charlene Blewett of MN; sons, Roger of  FL, Gary of MN; 13 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and brothers and sisters, Harry (Sylvia)  Weber, Ervin Schneider, Eddie (Doris) Schneider, Delphine (Marlin) Ness, Dorothy Porwoll, Jenny Schepers, Alice Schneider, Ronald (Barb) Schneider and Alvin (Kim) Schneider all of MN.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Jerome John Krueger; son, Jeffrey John Krueger; and brothers and sisters, Al, Roman, John and Leo Weber, Clara Arnold, Regina Egen, Lorraine Nieters, Richard Schneider and Lucille Fuchs.

Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
