LaVonne "Bonnie" J. Trout, 73

Richmond

May 30, 1941 - June 21, 2014

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 26, 2014 at Assumption Catholic Church in Eden Valley for LaVonne "Bonnie" J. Trout, age 73, of Richmond who passed away on Saturday at the St. Cloud Hospital. Rev. Jerome Naduvathaniyil, OSB and Deacon Jim Trout will officiate and burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends and relatives may call from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Eden Valley and also one hour prior to services at the church on Thursday. Christian Women will pray the rosary at 4:30 p.m. and parish prayers will be at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday evening at the funeral home.

Bonnie was born on May 30, 1941 in Flandreau, SD to Ernest and Geraldine (Earl) Jones. She was united in marriage to Don Trout on August 30, 1958 at St. Charles Borromeo in St. Anthony. Don and Bonnie raised their family on a hobby farm in Maple Grove, moved to their lake home near Pine City in 1996 and moved to Richmond in 2005 to be closer to family. She was a homemaker and was also as nursing assistant in Osseo. Bonnie was a member of Assumption Catholic Church in Eden Valley, Christian Women, Guardian Angels, chairperson of the Harvest Festival Dinner and Senior Citizens. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, baking, especially rhubarb custard pie and cooking. Family and her faith were very important to Bonnie and she loved being with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband Don of Richmond; sons, Bob (Gail) of Browerville, Jim (Betsy) of St. Cloud, Mark (Mila) of Maple Grove and Bill (Teresa) of Richmond; brother and sister, Bob Jones of Blaine and Janice Feyo of Isle; 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Doris Anderson, Dorothy Pichè and Gwen Elson.
