Cold Spring

April 13, 1919 - July 16, 2014

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 21, 2014 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Cold Spring, MN for Hermina H. Leither, age 95, who died Wednesday at the Assumption Home.  Burial will be in the St. Boniface Cemetery, Cold Spring, MN.

Relatives and friends may call after 9:00 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. Monday at the church.

Minnie was born in St. Martin to Edward and Catherine (Schleper) Kollmann.  She married Roman Leither on September 25, 1941 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Cold Spring, MN. He passed March 10, 1977.  Minnie worked as a housekeeper at Assumption Home for over ten years.  She loved crocheting, baking, spending time with grand kids, playing cards, and Little Debbie snacks.  Minnie was a member of St. Boniface Parish & Christian Women, and St. Julian Mission Group.

Survivors include her children, Mary (Clarence) Schaefer, David (Elaine), Don (Jeanine); sisters, Sister Quidella Kollmann OSB, and Dora Mueller; sister-in-law, Josephine Kollmann; grandchildren, Jeff (Ranae) Schaefer, Doris Weber, Kim (Josh) Wabaunsee, Kelly (Andy) Lagnese, Eric (Tanya) Leither, Tony (Julie) Leither, Annie Leither, and Chris Leither; and 18 great-grandchildren.

 She was preceded in death by her husband Roman; sisters, Lorraine, and Mary Ann; brothers, Art, and Jerome.

 A special "Thank You" to the Assumption Home Staff for the great care they gave Minnie!
