Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 10, 2012 at St. Mary of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Long Prairie for Rhonda J. Rausch, age 60, of Long Prairie, who passed away on Wednesday at Talahi Care Center in Saint Cloud after a long battle with Alzheimers Disease. Rev. Richard Walz will officiate and burial will be at the parish cemetery. Friends and relatives may call from 3:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at St. Mary of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Long Prairie on Friday evening and also one hour prior to Mass at the church on Saturday. The rosary will be prayed at 4:00 p.m. and parish prayers will be at 8:00 p.m. Arrangements are entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Stein Chapel in Long Prairie.

Rhonda was born on October 16, 1952 in Sauk Centre to Ronald and Beth (Carpenter) Engdahl. On September 14, 1973, she was united in marriage to Ken Rausch in Long Prairie. She was a member of St. Mary of Mount Carmel Catholic Church and for 22 years touched the hearts of many through her gift of music in the church choir. She worked for Todd County Social Services as a financial worker, as a Librarian at the Great River Library in Long Prairie and was also a devoted homemaker. Rhonda loved to play piano. She was a perfectionist, always practicing and perfecting her talent. Rhonda enjoyed spending time with her family. She was considerate of others, very kind, caring and dedicated to her children.

Survivors include her husband, Ken of Long Prairie; sons, Jason (Sasha) of Rice and Jeff (Angie) of Willmar; father, Ronald (Ilene) Engdahl of Baxter; brothers, Bruce (Jane) Engdahl, Gregg (Sandy) Engdahl and Steve Engdahl, all of Saint Cloud; and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Beth.

Memorials are preferred in Rhonda's name, to Alzheimers Disease Research at: Department of Development, Mayo Clinic 200 1st Street Southwest, Rochester, MN 55902-9813.
