Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 22, 2013 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Sauk Rapids for Wanda A. Reberg, age 90, who passed away Thursday at the St. Cloud Hospital. Rev. Paul Cloeter and Rev. Harvey Ehlers will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Sauk Rapids and one hour prior to the services Monday at the church. Sauk Rapids American Legion Post #254 Auxiliary and Sauk Rapids VFW Post #6992 Auxiliary will pray at 6:30 p.m., followed by Trinity Lutheran prayers at 7:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home in Sauk Rapids.
Wanda A. Reberg was born Dec. 17, 1922 in St. Cloud to William & Myrtle (Benner) Morfitt. She married Lester Reberg on April 9, 1942 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Sauk Rapids. Wanda has lived in Sauk Rapids since her marriage. She was a homemaker and also a bookkeeper for Lakeland Bakery and Purity Milk. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Sauk Rapids American Legion Post #254 Auxiliary and Sauk Rapids VFW Post #6992 Auxiliary. Wanda enjoyed gardening, flowers, word finds, sewing, bowling, trips to the casino, and cooking. She was a fun loving, independent person who adored her family and loved spending time with her great grandchildren. Wanda was the caretaker for her husband, Lester during his illness with Alzheimer's Disease for many years.
Survivors include her son and daughter, David Reberg of Sauk Rapids and Bonnie (Donald) McDermond of Sauk Rapids; grandchildren, Kristen Tadych, Timothy (Kris Wainright-Tadych) Tadych, and Jay Tadych; and great grandchildren, Madison, Olivia, McKenzie and Brandon. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lester on Dec. 15, 1993; sister, Lorraine Knafla; and brothers, Ralph and Charles Morfitt.
