Julia M. Mazzuco, 90

St. Cloud

Feb. 6, 1923 - Jan. 5, 2014

Mass of Christian Burial will be 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in St. Cloud for Julia M. Mazzuco, age 90 of St. Cloud who passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2014 at the St. Therese Home in New Hope. Burial will take place at Assumption Cemetery, St. Cloud.

Family and friends may call after 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Paul's Church. Arrangements are being made with the Daniel Funeral Home, St. Cloud.

Julia was born February 6, 1923 in Freeport, Minnesota to George and Veronica (Evens) Stich. She married Sal Mazzuco on March 14, 1942 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Brooklyn, New York. Julia was employed as Senior Cashier at the St. Cloud Hospital for 16 years retiring in 1979. She lived in St. Cloud most of her married life. Julia was a member of the St. Cloud East Side Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #4847 Auxiliary and St. Paul's Parish.

Julia is survived by her daughter, Linda Mazzuco of Andover; daughter-in-law, Deb Mazzuco of St. Bonifacius; six grandchildren, Denny (Michelle), Jodi, Greg (Lauren), Dan, Paul, and Brian; and seven great-grandchildren, Emily, Elisa, Blake, Chase, Paige, Zack, and William.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Sal in 1972; and two sons, Sal, Jr. and Dennis.
