Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 1, 2014 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in St. Cloud for Robert G. Harris, age 83, of St. Cloud who passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at the St. Cloud Hospital. Reverend Thomas Knoblach will officiate. Entombment will take place at Assumption Cemetery Mausoleum in St. Cloud with military honors.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday and after 9:00 a.m. Thursday all at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud. Parish prayers will be held at 5:00 p.m. followed by the St. Cloud V.F.W. Post #428 ritual at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Bob was born on November 14, 1930 in Forsyth, Montana to Benjamin and Ann (Novak) Harris. He served honorably in the United States Army during the Korean War. Bob married Mary Lou Patsch at St. Mary's Cathedral in St. Cloud on January 18, 1958. He worked for the St. Cloud V.A. Medical Center as a nursing assistant for 34 years. He was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and the St. Cloud V.F.W. Post #428.

Bob enjoyed gardening, fishing, and building wood models. He especially treasured all the time spent with his family and friends.

Bob is survived by his wife; children, Thomas (Lynne) of Vadnais Heights, Gary (Yvonne) of Maple Grove, Rob of Minneapolis, David of Northfield, Paul (Jennifer) of St. Cloud, Carol (Bill) Ryan of Bellingham, WA; grand-children, Christine (Phil), Scott, Elizabeth, Lindsey, Jacob, Maddie, Sophia, and Jack; brother and sister, Gale (Lucille) and Donna Johnson; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grand- daughter, Emma Ryan; sisters, Dorothy, and Joanne; brothers, Stanley, James and Richard.

A Special Thank You to Dr. Mark Hauge, Dr. Tom Leither and the St. Cloud Hospital Dialysis Program for the care given to Bob over the years.
